Making & Processing Your Order
All orders purchased through our online shop are ‘made-to-order’ and due to the quantities and amount of orders we receive, they usually take 2-8 business days to make in our home-studio (before shipping). If we anticipate your order will take longer than expected we will be in contact to notify you. Turn around time-frames for custom orders are dependant on availability of fabrics and quantities required.
If you require your order to be made and processed quicker than our estimate times please contact us directly at email@example.com before placing your order to ensure we can accommodate. Please note, an additional processing charge may be required for express orders with extremely tight turn arounds. We will do our best to accommodate your request, though please keep in mind we are a small part-time business.
Shipping & Delivery
All of our products are shipped Australia-wide from Perth, Western Australia via Australia Post. Once our orders are made and processed within our home-studio (2-7 business days) they are sent via Express Parcel Post (2-3 business days within Australia). Therefore: processing + Express Shipping timeframes = 4-10 business days.
Your order’s tracking details will be sent directly by Australia Post to the email address provided at point of sale.
Due to the value of our products, all parcels sent by Gentleman & Scholar Apparel include Extra Cover to the value of your order through Australia Post. If for any reason you believe your parcel is lost through the Australia Post network, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can lodge an investigation. If your parcel is not found we will either refund you the full amount of your purchase or re-send your order. Please note this does not apply to orders where the address has been submitted incorrectly at the point of checkout.
Although our online shop does not offer the option for International shipping please contact us at email@example.com and we will provide you with a quote for shipping charges to your destination as well as a manual invoice for payment of your product/s.
Once your parcel has arrived in your country, it will be passed onto an internal postal service, according to standard delivery procedures of your country. If you are not around to take delivery of your parcel, the carrier will leave a calling card telling you how you can pick it up.
Countries where customs or import duties are liable will be indicated at checkout along with the value limit at which duty is payable. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country.
